How it works

One sales agent per supplier. Two doors: people on the supplier's site, buyer agents over MCP.

Most suppliers have no AI consultant on their website, and no way for a buyer's AI agent to ask them anything. Procurement is moving to agents that shortlist suppliers before a human reads a single page. A supplier that cannot answer an agent is not in the shortlist.

chillandtrade packages a supplier's catalog into one sales agent that answers both audiences from the same data: products, list prices, availability, lead times, specifications.

Door 1 — people on the supplier's site

A link in the supplier's footer: Ask our AI sales agent → https://chillandtrade.com/s/<seller>/ask. A visitor filters by power, fuel, phase, noise, transfer switch, budget, stock, or types what they need, and gets matching products with prices and lead times. No widget, no script to install: one link.

Door 2 — buyer agents

https://chillandtrade.com/s/<seller>/mcp is a streamable-HTTP MCP server with four tools:

• <seller>_find — search with filters (text, brand, price, in stock, kW, fuel, phase, max noise dBA, transfer switch included, any spec with >= / <=).
• <seller>_get — full product card: specs, description, image, URL, how to reach the seller.
• <seller>_quote — indicative quote for sku × qty at list price.
• <seller>_check_spec — compare the buyer's requirements with the product's spec sheet; every row gets a verdict: meets / does not meet / check manually / no data on the seller's site.

Open catalogs need no token. Private price lists (dealer pricing) need the seller's permission.

How a seller agent appears

1. Built from the public site. Products, prices, availability as published. Specs are extracted from the product pages into one spec table. Nothing to integrate; the agent is live before the supplier hears from us.
2. Claimed by the supplier. Verify the domain, then add what the site does not show: live stock, lead times, dealer and volume pricing — a link to a spreadsheet is enough. Dealer prices stay private; the supplier decides which buyer agents may ask.

What it costs

Free for buyers and their agents. Free to build and run for suppliers. A flat fee only on a deal won through the agent.
